This game program was from the East West All-Star game that was played at Comiskey Park in Chicago, Illinois on August 22, 1948. The center section of the program has preprinted lineups for both teams. This souvenir program also has numerous pictures of the players and league officials.
The East West All-Star games were played from 1933 to 1950. These games featured the best players in Negro League baseball. The game was always the highlight of the Negro League season. There were 42,000 fans in attendance at the game played in 1948 at Comiskey Park in Chicago.
