This game used baseball was from the Buffalo Soldiers baseball team that was assigned to Fort Huachuca, Arizona. This ball was used in a game played during the Buffalo Soldiers 1942 season. John Marshall pitched this game and saved the baseball. He made notations on the ball to commemorate the event.
